Memory apps stop at the archive
They keep the photo. They don't turn it into tonight's adventure — so the moment stays a file, not a ritual.
Bedtime stories for kids
LittleStory turns today's little things — a drawing, a first lost tooth, a giggle you managed to record — into a brand-new illustrated bedtime story. Personalized for your child, written in seconds, and read aloud in a warm, gentle voice. Even your own.
01The idea behind LittleStory
Keepsake apps archive your photos but never tell a story with them. Story apps invent a tale from a few keywords, but know nothing about your family. LittleStory joins the two: the memories you already record become the stories you read tonight.
They keep the photo. They don't turn it into tonight's adventure — so the moment stays a file, not a ritual.
Generic heroes, generic plot, no memory of your child. Lovely — but your family could be anyone's.
A photo your child drew this morning becomes the map in tonight's story. That's why they ask for it again.
02How it works
Three steps, and the story is waiting in your library by bedtime.
Snap a photo or pick one from your gallery, record up to a minute of your child's voice, and add a one-line note. The three parts become a single Moment.
Pick a theme, a length of 10, 15 or 20 minutes, an illustration style, a narration tone and a narrator voice. Or tap Surprise Me and let the app choose.
LittleStory writes the tale, illustrates it page by page, and reads it aloud. Press play at bedtime — and slow it down, skip back 15 seconds, or add gentle background music.
03Features
Every feature exists for one reason: to make tonight's story feel like it was written for your child — because it was.
A photo, a voice note and your own note become one Moment. Stories are built from it, never from a blank text box.
Point the camera at today's drawing, the sandcastle or the new shoes — the scene becomes part of the tale, not just an attachment.
Record your child telling you about their day — it is transcribed and woven into the tale, in their own words.
Story length, vocabulary and sentence structure adapt across three levels — 2–4, 5–7 and 8–10 — so the app grows with your child.
Add a profile per child with name, birthday and gender — or star one of them as the hero of their own story.
Every story comes with its own artwork in Watercolor, Pixar-style 3D or Cartoon — consistent characters across the whole tale.
Every tale is saved in the Story Library, filtered by today, this week or this month — ready to replay forever.
Playback speed from 0.8× to 1.2×, 15-second skip back and forward, calm background music, and a mini player that follows you.
Adventure, Friendship, Learning, Fantasy and Nature — plus four narration tones from Gentle Bedtime to Warm Encouragement.

04Narrator voices
Record a ten-second sample once. LittleStory learns the sound of your voice, and from then on tonight's story can be read in it — the same warmth, on a night you're working late, travelling, or far away.
"Read it in Daddy's voice tonight" is a request LittleStory can actually answer — from a hotel room three time zones away.
05Illustration styles
Every story is illustrated in the style you choose, with the same character held consistently from the first page to the last.
06When to use it
Bedtime is only the beginning — LittleStory is for all the quiet in-between minutes too.
Gentle narration and a calm tone to close the day — no screen light, just listening.
"Tell me about your day" turned into a story about their day.
15 and 20 minute stories built for the back seat, playing from your phone.
Follow along with the full story text while the narration reads at 0.8×.
A recurring character, a shared story, and one more thing to talk about.
A fresh story on demand — no repeat of the same audiobook for the ninth time.
07Story library
Generated stories are saved with their artwork and narration, so the adventure your child loved last Tuesday is still there tonight. Filter by date, replay any tale, and open the full story text whenever you'd rather read it yourselves.
08Safety & privacy
LittleStory is a children's app, so it is designed the way a children's app should be: quiet, private, and free of anything trying to sell to your child.
Original photos and audio are kept on the device, not uploaded for storage. Only a little text ever leaves your phone — a short description of the photo, the voice-note transcript and your own note — so a story can be written.
There is nothing to tap that leads a child out of the app. No advertising SDKs, no third-party ad trackers, no upsell screens inside a story.
Accounts, child profiles and every story are created by a parent or guardian. Children never sign in, and nothing is published anywhere — your stories are yours alone.
You have the right to access, export and delete the data held about you and your children — from inside the app or from our account-deletion page.

10Questions
LittleStory is an Android app that turns your family's real moments into personalized bedtime stories for kids. You capture a photo, a voice note and a one-line memory; the app writes a brand-new, age-appropriate story around them, illustrates it, and reads it aloud — optionally in a parent's cloned voice.
Every story is grounded in something real. The app reads the photo you took, transcribes your voice note, and keeps the note you wrote — and it generates the tale for your child's profile, using their name, birthday and age group. Vocabulary, sentence length and story length all adapt, from toddlers aged 2–4 through early readers aged 8–10.
Yes. Record a 10–30 second voice sample once in the My Voice screen and LittleStory clones it, so future stories can be narrated in your voice. You can also choose one of four ready-made narrators — Mia, Chloe, Milo or Dean — and preview any voice before you generate.
Photo and audio files stay on your phone by default. Only a little text leaves your phone — a short description of the photo, the voice-note transcript and your own note — so a story can be written. Generated stories and illustrations are stored so they can be replayed and synced.
LittleStory is built for children: no ads, no third-party advertising trackers, no in-story upsells. Every account and child profile is created by an adult, children never sign in directly, and the app is designed with the COPPA and GDPR-K principles for children's data in mind.
Roughly 2 to 10. Stories come in three age-adapted levels — 2–4, 5–7 and 8–10 — plus 10, 15 or 20 minute lengths, so the same app grows from toddler lullabies to independent early reading.
It's free to start: new accounts receive 50 welcome credits, which is five stories. After that each story costs 10 credits, with credit packs at 100 credits for $1.99 or 300 credits for $4.99 through Google Play. Recording Moments is unlimited and free.
Yes. You can delete your account and all associated data from inside the app, or use our account-deletion page. You can also request access to or an export of your data at any time.
